In addition to the release of Exiles, the latest upload had some other changes of note. I'm separating this stuff out into its own post because I wanted to make sure that the first of these changes appears right on the page itself, in the hopes of avoiding any confusion....
CTRL is now titled ALT. I was never entirely happy with the original title (as much as I liked how it looked typographically). The name of the spy agency in the game is still CTRL, but "ALT" maintains the keyboard motif and more clearly connotes that it's a setting where you might have more than one appearance. I made some changes to explicitly call out "alt" as an in-world term for spare bodies (but left open the question of whether it's legal to be sleeved in multiple bodies at once).
Wording changes on some games. I added some variety to the GM materials in ALT, clarified some phrasing in a couple games, and reworded an entry in Xenolith to remove a reference to the Church of the Hive Mind. Maybe Xenolith is in the same setting as the other games that mention the Church, maybe not—but either way, I think the name works better in a mostly-human setting.
Everything's now zipped. Itch.io has a limit to the total number of file uploads on a single page, and I'm nearing it. I thought I'd compress everything into a single file from now on. Please let me know if this approach presents any unforeseen problems.
