Okay, this should be working properly now. What I did before (setting "use fixed framerate" to true) was absolutely not the way to do things properly because if it can't reach the target framerate it will just.....run in slowmotion for some reason (fuck if I know why they put that in the engine....)
anyway, I've now implemented a proper solution that actually does limit the framerate properly. I've chosen to set it to 120 because its only just a demo so any screen-tearing that results from that won't be too much of an issue and it feels nicer anyway
