This week has been primarily polishing the gameplay and finalising some key areas, managed to complete all the art for the game and implement some new features based on feedback received, along with these gameplay finishes, have worked on some sound related content as a final feature. Overall, would of liked to achieve more but i'm definitely proud of how the game is turning out. There is currently 10 levels functioning completely now and should be ready for you to give them a go.
Finished the visuals for the damage blocks and marble spawner.
Implemented a large number of particles from this particle pack, and modified them to fit the style of my game.
Implemented a better system for managing the particles, now have death, end point, portals and bound particles working.
Implemented a budget indicator into the user interface to show how many tools you can build for the 3 star rating. And a marble counter to see how many marbles have found their place home.
Implemented a sound management system with persists throughout the game, for playing sound effects and also managing the audio from main menu.
Game will now properly start a new game when you run it for the first time, this is an update from the button used before.
Recorded various sound effects for the game including: Marble break, marble on wood, marble on bounce and marble succeed sound effect.(Sounds are slightly WIP and yet to be finished)
