Howdy all!
Unfortunately, life has slowly been kicking up speed recently, and I'm an expert at putting too much on my plate. I've been slowly working on this project (and others like it) for about half a year, and only when quarantine started and school ended, was I able to get it out. And I'm SO happy about all the love and support I've gotten from making this-I really love doing it, and it's wonderful to see people so excited from that in turn!
Unfortunately, now school's started up again, and I'm once again putting too much on my plate. I thought that once-monthly would be a good update schedule, but as the first Friday of October gets slowly closer and closer, I've realized... that's probably not gonna happen. I have a good amount of characters in the works already, with some art done, some things written, but not any that are done for my expectations to put in the game just yet. That means, in short, no update now :(
Just to be clear: THIS PROJECT IS NOT ON HOLD, OR HIATUS, OR CANCELLED. Still chugging along on it, I'm just sleepy as hell.
I've decided that, in order to try to fill the gaps, I'm going to attempt to be more active on Twitter! I'll continue to post longer development posts like this every month at minimum, and always try to have something to go alongside it.
As a friend kindly reminded me, "delayed content is eventually good, rushed content is forever bad." I really care about this project, and I don't want to rush it or lower the quality at all. Unfortunately, that means we're gonna have to deal with my whole "too much on my plate" thing!
On the bright side, I have been working on some new inductions for all the existing characters, and still have three characters I'm very excited about in the works. I also have a couple other game ideas I've been getting excited about, and I may find myself working on in the meantime... They're all things I think you'll enjoy~~
