Dev Notes

• I went on a brief holiday after the release of 4.0.1. This release gathers together all the exciting things that have arrived whilst I was away, as well as a few more recent treats.
• MVPs of this build are Tosk, for amazing code support, and our newest writer Garoompahfah, who hammered out the Darja content with me in just a few days.

Features

• Consort: Darja can be chosen as your consort (collab with Garoompahfah).
• Dynamic: Malice visits the kobold warrens (collab with Mattrex).
• Fate: Issa can be given to the proteans (collab with MayaFae).
• Fate: Darja can be given to the infernals (collab with Mattrex).
• Followup: Darja after her infernal fate (collab with Mattrex).
• Art: Mina’s sweetened deal (Lubbio).
• Art: Malice’s birth (Lubbio).

Tweaks

• If Mina is your consort, she will be a little more permissive.
• If you kill Issa while he is serving as your general, you may choose a replacement.
• Breaker’s chamber is accessible during Act IV.
• Characters will be given names for the AMA if you have not already met them.
• Heloise ceases to be giftable when you become aware that she is pregnant.

Fixes

• Corrected a bug during Malagar’s naga chat.
• Issa adopts any new name more consistently.
• Added a circumstance for if Malice is never named.
• You can’t meet Malice in a dream after she has been born.
• Fixed some behaviours when using the Old art style.
• Fixed some behaviours when the dragon’s voice is turned off.
• Fixed some logic that could potentially cause infinite loops in rare circumstances.
• Assorted improvements to text and to stage direction.
