Post-jam update
NecropolisA downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Thank you to everyone who provided feedback during the jam, via comments and stream. As a result, I have been able to make the following small changes:
- Difficulty overall reduced, changed hard to "nightmare" and added an easier "hard"
- Reduced blink mana cost
- Prompt player to click amulet after first obtaining it
- Prompt player to click character button when levelling up. Also made the character icon more bouncy on levelling.
- Increased mana regeneration when in physical form
- Made blink easier to use: visual indicator of where you will blink to when the blink spell is selected
- Adjusted spell damage scaling from spell power and spell level
- Few collision bugs fixed - especially resulting from the blink spell (although needs further testing to try to break things)
- Increased fireball projectile speed
- Renamed Jane's mother to Jane's uncle
- Hint text takes longer to fade
- Fixed some checkpoint bugs
- Added hotkeys for potions, menu, character (shown via hint on tooltip)
Depending on further testing and feedback, we may release a further post-jam update.
