Hi folks,
I was able to get a few additional changes in as part of the back-and-forth with printers. Here's the changelog:
- Misc. typos fixed.
- Renamed Imperial Move to Subjugation Move across the Guilds.
- Rewrote Manifest - it now rolls with +Wisdom, and is more clear about what it does and how backlashes work.
- The Break trigger was made clearer.
- Changed Negotiate from 'On a hit, your allies must perform the action' to 'On a hit, those you meet must perform the action'.
- Clarified in Confront that rolling a hit on exploiting an Opening removed the Opening. Also capitalised Opening as a system term.
- Moved the introduction of a Crisis to the start of the Venture half of The Council, and made it clear that the GM introduces one if there is no Guild player.
- Clarified Advance, specifying more clearly where you can take moves from and what happens when you've marked four.
- Added intro page for House playbooks and Hero playbooks.
- Clarified that Guild's Ancestral Control bonuses are cumulative.
- Tweaked Magista's Mystical Legalists doctrine to read 'Endure, but you must pick 'Understand how the danger is tied to an existing Factor'.'
- Changed Varorin's The Law of Attraction to a Reaction instead of an Endeavour that gives you a free Gear Up with consequences.
- Second Tower of Villos Inheritence move renamed to 'Capture in Crystal'.
- Made it clear that the Crystal-Crowned loyalty benefits are cumulative.
- Architect Heroes only get +1 to one stat instead of both.
- Removed the anomalous third tags from the Verdant Priesthood's travel options.
- Made gender presentation options in Particulars more uniform.
- Clarified when you pick an Ancestry in game setup.
- Added/altered descriptions for tags: flying, far, silent, mantle, elegant.
- Prowler: Altered wording in Heroism Is Optional and Night Walking to prevent confusion with Openings in Confront.
- Survivor: Explained how to regain access to The Name They Honour.
- Vagabond: Explained how to regain access to Dangerous Outlaw.
- Firebrand: Added back missing words on the Outsider move.
- Added a sidebar discussing multiple Guild players on p. 17.
- In 'Influence with your masters' on p. 35, clarified that those trigger when your masters gain extra control over you but already have dominion - not Influence.
- Added a handout page about Gear, Ancestry moves, and the peripheral moves not on the main move handouts.
- Tweaked wording about Wonder ongoing benefits on p. 167.
