Some of AJG's features are simple/food item and simple block generation - only those are possible in the current latest stable version, 1.16. The syntax of those will be updated, so simple items and blocks generated by AJG would still work flawlessly. But what about the new data-driven item features? Well, here's when AJG: Advanced Items comes in.
AJG: Advanced Items is going to be an executable (written in C++ this time for maximum efficiency), available for download with AJG for either free or a small fee. It's also going to be launchable directly from AJG or separately. A screenshot lets us peek on the current UI prototype: it will be much more intuitive and will list all available development packs in a sidebar for quick selection. Remember: this is just a prototype, meaning everything will/might be changed and may be influenced by suggestions!
So, AJG: Advanced Items will be able to mass-generate any new type of items, with full [component] configurability, only excluding custom events: those go beyond AJGenerator and into a Code Editor, like CoreCoder. Simple blocks, Manifests, Skin Packs, miscellaneous files, etc are still going to be generated by the original AJG. Feature rules and Structures are taken care of by FRG.
Ave! I look forward to any feedback above the UI: you may contact me via Discord here.
