Bright Adventures 1.0 launch

Bright Adventures
A downloadable book

I'm real excited for this one. It's a little less interactive than my last game, Bullet Nirvana. (The PDF is in fact read-only. The only interaction you can have is with your brain and your heart.) It's a wild ride that combines first person and over-the-shoulder third person action, some pretty cutting-edge conceptual graphics, and a deeply personal narrative that puts you in the shoes of over a dozen playable characters, one at a time. And the writing is where this game really shines, comfortably competing with the recognized masterpieces of its generation - I'd honestly be embarrassed if you brought up any less than Disco Elysium, Planescape, Night in the Woods, Firewatch or at least Life is Strange.

Okay, I'm kidding, Bright Adventures is not actually a game. It's a short story collection. Everything else I said is true though.

It's pay what you want, and you've got fourteen stories, ranging from 500 to 15,000 words, so why not download it and just give it a poke, see if you like anything. I can't be objective, sure, but I really think my writing is that good.
