Dungeon Whatever v0.07 Changelog
- Removed "Attributes" as a mechanic and folded them into Trainings. I don't like the narrative implications of inherent attribute bonuses and I think the Training system already covers what I want the Attributes to do, which was to enable conversion of existing stats from other games. I also think the generalized application of Training bonuses versus always trying to match every action to 6 narrow attributes will fit the looser nature of the game.
- Added default setting for Difficulty Number and adjustments based on circumstances and Encounter challenges.
- Adjusted default number of segments for Defense Clocks since it's no longer linked to Attributes.
- Added guidance for when you should skip Action Rolls if multiple bonuses or modifications apply to the roll.
- Added some advice on handling split parties in Encounters.
- Added new functionality to the Aid another Character Contribution to allow Defense recovery.
- Updated the Character Sheet to reflect the removal of Attributes.
