IMPORTANT - You need to start a completely new game for the pronouns/variables to work properly!
Each route in chapter V has 4 mini ‘endings’ depending on the items you picked/not picked up, but only two endings lead to the continuation of the story (chapter VI). The guide can be found [here]. It contains spoilers though, so be aware of that.
Next thing, this chapter locks your relationship with the characters (ROs/LIs). Before the ‘confession’ you’ll have an option to completely skip the scene**, play it as friendship or as romance. Additionally, scenes resulting in romance are marked with a white heart (🤍) on the right side of the choice button.

Edit1. I just realized that the notebook (Reed’s route) showed the wrong thing regardless of the chosen pronouns. It’s fixed now though, sorry about that.
