Spiral Atlas brought to my attention that, although an Auto-Forward Speed setting existed in the preferences screen, there was no way to actually enable Auto Forward in the game.
There's a new game build that adds an "Auto Forward" button to preferences, to enable the functionality.
As usual, there's nothing else new in this build, so you can skip it if you don't need the functionality.
