version 1.13, the seasons update, has been released. Check out our update trailer
In short, it adds
- Fully simulated seasons with seasonal crop growth and seasonal temperature and day/night cycle simulation
- Multimaterial block chiseling
- Improved water visuals with sunlight reflections
- Improved fine-detail visuals through SSAO
- A new, experimental immersive first person mode
- Improved 3d models for tools and traders
- Improved flower pots and planters, some new flowers
- Improved jungle flora
- Improved survival guide so ever less time is required to task out of the game to read the official wiki
- Lots of mechanical power updates, including a large 3x3 wide gear and a clutch
- More modding capabilities, especially modders can now load blender created models into the game
