Hey all, here with another demo update for ya'! You know how this goes by now, so here's a list of all the things fixed up here in this iteration of the demo:
- NPC dialogue in the city of Utvieria changed to reflect lead character. Had it where a few NPCs would address the character as "sir", even if the lead character was Arae, so changed it around where said NPCs would say the gender appropriate title depending on what character is the lead character.
- Fixed minimap bugs in Utvieria where chests would be marked inappropriately. Saw on a friend's playthrough of the demo that chests would appear on the minimap either out of place or were not even there to begin with, so made sure to fix that issue up.
- Added a person's name into the credits that needed to be added.
- Fixed a few small graphical issues in the city of Utvieria.
- Fixed a small graphical issue with the chest in Utvieria (City Square).
- Fixed a placement bug in a cutscene in Utvieria.
- Corrected number of soldiers in Utvieria (Imperial District). Realized that there was one more soldier in the demo than there should be, so I made the number accurate to the full game.
- Fixed a few slight typos in various places in the game.
- Condensed the information in the "Elements and Ailments" key item, as well as making it where information is presented on the entire screen and not just in a text box, making it far more pleasant to look at and get information from.
- Made it where the minimap will return after a cutscene if the player had it open before said cutscene instead of forcing the player to hit Page Up or Page Down if he/she wished to see the minimap again.
- Made it where the player can have Utvieria as a warp point as soon as he/she steps into the city instead of walking into the City Square where the warp statue is.
And that about covers all the touch-ups for this demo. Yet again, more quality of life fixes that should have already been taken care of, but it just goes to show how much is easily overlooked when working on a game. Anywho, here's hoping you all enjoy the game and please, don't hesitate to let me know of any issues you might encounter in the game; I would like for my game to be as finely polished as can be.
