#Changelog
This sprint was a tough one, as unlike before, I didn't have a strong plan going into it. It gave me a chance to experiment with some new features (which you may have seen on my Twitter feed), but they need some more development before they're ready. However midway through the sprint, I was encouraged by my Discord server to map out a roadmap; so I did!
You can view the roadmap on my Trello board. The roadmap gives a glimpse into what the final game will have to offer, along with what short-term goals I have for the next release. I will be updating this frequently as I will be using this myself every sprint.
This release introduces more content changes than code. To give a better feel of how the final game will feel, I spent some time updating the models and adding an obviously missing component: audio. The player now has a new shader that gives her a more anime appearance. The NPCs have also been changed from their sterile mannequins to better looking anime-styled salary men; these models are not final.
The other major addition was the introduction of audio. There are only a few sound effects at the moment, but it helps give the world a little more life. The neighborhood is now full of crickets with some houses having dogs barking from within. The player character also now has audible footsteps, which vary depending on the ground below her. This is a very new feature, so several things are still missing: NPCs do not currently emit footsteps nor will they hear yours; these are things that will come in time.
I credit my ever growing Discord community for helping rerail myself this sprint. I'm most active on Discord, so feel free to join and say hello. If you like where this game is going, please support me on Patreon, as every little bit helps keep me working on this full-time.
