Update time ! and there is a bit to cover here as the game takes a bit more shape, i'll go into details along the post.
First one of the major visible change player side, the addition of a new level, which put them at 5 currently, i initially wanted to work on some music first so that each level could have its own and build from there, but since i didn't have that much inspiration music wise i decided to go for some levelmaking.
The new one is the first of 2 that i plan on adding to put the final game at a total of 6 not counting a dedicated boss level (more like a room that's why i don't truly count it as a full fledged level), for the current build, the new level 5 is complete with the exception of music which it has a repeat track as placeholder, level 6 is "on the workbench" so to speak, while the boss is more on the testing side of things so i'll update how this goes as it takes shape ^^
Then some backend changes for the game as well, recently when i resumed developement, i updated to Godot 3.2.2, so i wanted to try and see how Displazer transitioned with this, and it initially broke the game completely... T_T well maybe not completely but most of the collisions had issues, so i started to see if i could understand what went wrong and if i could fix it, if i couldn't i had the backup plan to finish this game on 3.1 and to use the newer vers of the engine only for new projects. Fortunately i managed to solve the issues and got the game running on 3.2.2 these shenanigans also served as a good learning experience :)
Before i move on to the changelog and such just one thing, i'll put Displazer on a small hiatus for the duration of the Godot Wild Jam 24, it's been a while since i didn't participate in a game jam and i miss it, and since i missed the mark on GMTK hopefully i can make it on this one, the fact that it lasts a bit longer should help XD
Developement on Displazer will resume after the jam + judging period is done.
Sorry about this looong entry now here's the changelog for some recap time :
