After many development passes, system expansions, balancing sessions, save-game migrations and a very large QA cycle, Lumenkin: Wildbound has officially reached v1.0.1 Stable.
This update is focused on one thing:
Making sure the game is genuinely ready to play.
Rather than adding another huge feature, v1.0.1 received a complete acceptance audit covering the major gameplay systems, interface flows, progression systems and save-game paths.
What is Lumenkin: Wildbound?
Lumenkin: Wildbound starts as a small creature-raising game, but gradually opens into a much larger single-player progression game combining:
Everything works locally in the browser and the game does not require an account, server or internet API for its core gameplay.
v1.0.1 Full Acceptance Audit
For this release I performed a much deeper test than the previous automated regression passes.
49 separate UI gameplay flows were executed successfully.
These included:
Bugs and polish fixed during the audit
A few smaller issues were discovered during the final pass.
Prestige unlock text
One interface message still referenced an older requirement:
Sanctuary Level 20
The actual Prestige requirement had already been changed to:
Complete Stage 35
The UI now correctly matches the gameplay logic.
Old development labels
A few remaining references to the old Gold Candidate build name were removed.
The game now consistently identifies itself as a stable release.
Mobile Resonance Team readability
Testing on a real iPhone revealed that some Resonance Team text was being truncated too aggressively.
The mobile layout has now been improved:
Keyboard focus issue
A rare focus-return problem could occur after closing nested Settings dialogs with Escape.
The modal focus system has now been hardened and verified again.
Real iPhone testing
The game has now also been played through itch.io on a real iPhone.
The following systems were visibly verified on physical hardware:
This was especially useful for improving mobile readability and layout.
Current content
The release now includes:
And quite a few secrets.
QA results
The current release passed:
295 / 295 historical regression tests
49 / 49 Full Acceptance UI flows
10 / 10 release checks
8 / 8 browser and viewport profiles
3 / 3 progression and balance simulations
0 JavaScript page errors
The Match-3 engine has also survived more than:
4,400 board and move stress-test cases
including standard boards, irregular board layouts and Seasonal variants.
The final itch.io ZIP itself was unpacked and tested again after packaging.
Save-game safety
The current save system includes:
Existing compatible saves from earlier builds continue to migrate forward.
No servers. No forced ads. No paid loot boxes.
Lumenkin: Wildbound remains a complete offline-friendly single-player browser game.
There are:
The goal has always been simple:
Make progression satisfying because the game is fun, not because it pressures the player.
What comes next?
For now, the core game is considered feature-complete for 1.0.
The next updates will primarily focus on:
Larger new systems will be reserved for future content updates rather than being rushed into the stable release.
Thanks for playing Lumenkin: Wildbound.
And if you discover something strange hiding in the Lumenwild…
there is a reasonable chance it was put there on purpose. ✦
