For whatever reason, the last time I uploaded this game, Unity's new Input System decided to stop working with WebGL (even though it had played nicely with my first upload). After fighting with it for hours and not finding any help online, I switched the input over to the Rewired asset, which I'd bought during Unity's latest Spring Sale anyway.
And now it works! Huzzah! (even if it is a big laggy with the updated visuals)
