About MZero3D

Turn your RPG Maker MZ projects into fully 3D worlds.

MZero3D is an independent 3D toolkit and editor designed for RPG Maker MZ. It replaces the traditional 2D presentation with a Babylon.js-powered 3D environment while keeping the familiar RPG Maker workflow underneath.

Create your game in RPG Maker MZ, install MZero3D into your project, enable a single plugin and bring your maps into 3D.

Build terrain using heightmaps or import complete environments created in Blender. Add 3D characters, animated models, objects, lighting, shadows, water, fog and environmental effects, while continuing to use RPG Maker MZ for events, switches, variables, maps and game logic.

From 2D to 3D

MZero3D does not replace RPG Maker MZ. Instead, it builds a 3D layer around it.

Use RPG Maker for your maps, events and game logic, then use MZero3D to create and customize the 3D world that represents them.

Whether you want to experiment with a simple 3D RPG, build large outdoor environments or create a completely different style of game, MZero3D gives you a flexible foundation without requiring you to abandon RPG Maker's event-driven workflow.
