Reframing Traits to be more like Archetypes

Hey!

I loved playing Ragnarök Online back in the early-mid 2000s, and I always appreciated the quirky Job system. So, I realized my Traits were all over the place, and I wanted to unify them a bit, so I reframed them as jobs/archetypes (except for Small). You can choose to use any words you like, it is your game after all. I wanted to have some clear go-tos for when you want to play a particular type of character.

Also, on the last page, I have removed some art and added the Healer Trait. Because you should understand how *healing* works in a game without any hitpoints. Remember, this game uses just Traits, some of which are more negative, so we call them Complications. Complications aren't all bad tho, because you can *portray* them for Action Tokens. Next time, you get a "Slash across the face", you know how to gain AT with it! After some medical attention, you might reframe the Trait as "Scarred Face" or remove the thing completely. Remember, the game doesn't require you to balance these things, because each item is balanced in play. If it's useful, it costs AT, if it hinders you, you gain AT.

And again, please comment and let me know if you miss any iconic character archetypes. I think I got most things covered.

A cleric would be a Healer and Divine Mage, for example.

Take care,
Zev / Georg
