#Update #v1.2 #Gameplay #Bug Fix
It's now been 3 days after the initial release, and it has been awesome seeing some of your comments & the general interest for the game. Below are the details for an update focused on Gameplay, fixing some bugs & tweaking some things based on the feedback I've received.
(Also, big thanks to Alpha Beta Gamer for featuring my game on his Youtube channel! He has great indie-focused content and his community is really nice.)
Gun
- Added a reload animation after shooting instead of an invisible "can't shoot" delay
- Added hitsounds when successfully shooting something
- Added better visual feedback when successfully shooting something
- Added some leeway for when you shoot. Practically, this means the gun has a wider spread, giving it a feel that's in between a pistol and a shotgun.
Misc
- Night 15: Better indication of how much health Tommy has left.
- Added a longer delay between two consecutive Tommy attacks
- Better introduction to the "Bring to sleep" mechanic
- Removed some visual glitches with children UI
- Tutorial input indications now correctly adapt to custom input
- Fixed the respawn position of Tommy when he spawns from a window
- Slightly lowered the time Tommy takes to break a board from a window
- Tweaked the fuse box to also be understandable for colorblind people
