The game has been recently updated so as to include multiple difficulty options, culminating in "Easy" and "Hard" settings.
In the "Easy" setting, enemy aircraft exhibit similar yaw characteristics as implemented in the original version, but with absence of pitch controls, as each aircraft will retain the exact same altitude as instigating during their instantiation. Furthermore, enemy missiles are less maneuverable and are allocated a smaller detection cone, enabling the player to break missile lock much more easily.
