V0.95 live!
Whew, its been a crazy time the last few months and there are definite reasons I've been a bit quiet with development lately. I'm sure a lot of you are feeling current events as well. Hopefully I can get this train rolling towards a release candidate for mobile! A lot of work was done on that front, but a lot of these changes effect desktop users as well. Here's whats new
WHATS NEW
- Added sound options
- The game "saves" when you exit so you can pick up where you left off. You can restart you game in the options screen
- Added holding down key movement to desktop version
- if you beat the game it unlocks an "infinite" mode which allows you to go beyond 13 levels after that. new variations of enemies and items can appear past level 13!
- Cool effect added when you gain armor
- Adjusted the appearance of the key slightly and added effect for when you use it.
- adjusted enemy spawn rates
- Blessing stones are more clear in what they did or didn't do
- Cacao (money) spawns more often
- UI elements made more visible
- Water spawns more often
- Made it more obvious what you picked up
- adjusted the font to be clearer
- Added new sound effects
- background stuff, added mobile support (this version is currently being testing on the personal android/ios devices in my household), translation framework, etc..
BUGS FIXED
- fixed huge issues with units entering each others squares or even getting stuck
- fixed huge issues with the Xolo dog enemy
- Fixed a bug with enemies colliding boxes
- Fixed a bug where sometimes the game would reset itself
- Fixed a bug where dropped armor is repaired
- Fixed a bug where shop items would spawn on walls
- Fixed a big where enemies off screen would attempt to pathfind over and over
- Fixed a bug where music would cut out on a new level
- Fixed a bug where item prices could be obscured
