Alright, folks.
I’ve been sitting on this update for a few weeks but I was recovering from some burnout and wasn’t quite able to get it out the door before now despite the fact it was like 90% done just a few days after the previous update.
oh well…
This new update brings some pretty significant performance optimizations that should keep the game playing at a smooth 60 fps on most devices. I even tested it on a steamdeck and it runs so much better that I wanted to post this announcement.
Also, I wanted to mention that the game has a steam page now where I am accepting playtest signups if you’d rather play the game through steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3421190/Dwelltris/
I’m still not finished with this game so keep an eye out for online leaderboards which is the next thing I’m working on now that the former performance issues have been addressed.
