Version 1.40.0 gives Job Cards stronger identity and adds persistent relationships between heroes while keeping combat fully automated.
Every Job Card now receives one deterministic Signature Trait based on its role, element and Job identity.
The system currently includes 12 Traits, such as:
Traits automatically influence the same combat logic already used by standard battles and Atlas Live Maps.
Heroes now build Bond XP automatically when they fight and win together.
Atlas Map clears provide additional Bond XP, with Unique and Pinnacle Maps granting larger amounts.
Bond progression contains five ranks:
Unfamiliar → Familiar → Trusted → Cohesive → Legendary Bond
Higher Bonds provide small automatic bonuses to damage, recovery, incoming pressure and high-level boss synergy. No Bond ability needs to be activated manually.
Combat remains completely automatic.
There are still no Attack, Skill, Target or Bond buttons.
Standard battles and Live Map expeditions capture the current Hero Trait and Bond setup when they begin, preventing later progression changes from altering an encounter already in progress.
The Crystalis Stronghold now contains 10 buildings with the addition of the new Hero Quarters.
Reserve heroes can receive passive Bond training through the existing Stronghold automation cycles, while higher Hero Quarters levels improve company Bond XP gains.
Upgrades use existing Pearl Dust, and no new Bond or Stronghold currency has been introduced.
