Version 1.36.0 makes the Atlas more dynamic by introducing rotating World States and regional anomalies that change how Maps play from run to run.
Four Atlas-wide states can now become active:
The active World State rotates after 4 successful regular or Unique Map clears. Rotation is fully offline and based on saved Atlas progression rather than real-world time.
Eight regional anomalies have also been added:
Cinderstorm, Whiteout Front, Rootwake, Stormfront, Umbral Tide, Prismatic Flux, Radiant Echo and Iron March.
Regional anomalies rotate after 2 clears in the affected region and can combine with the current global World State.
World States and anomalies directly influence:
New combat hazards such as Cinderfall, Whiteout, Guardian Pulse and Avarice Burst also execute directly inside Live Map combat.
Each Live Map captures its World State when the expedition begins.
That snapshot remains fixed until the run ends, even if the global Atlas rotates in the meantime.
Maps that were already active before updating to 1.36 receive a neutral legacy snapshot, preventing the update from suddenly making an existing run harder or changing its rewards.
