Version 1.10.0 begins a new development cycle linking the Tavern Hunt Board to a persistent monster collection.
The Tavern now contains a fourth tab: Menagerie. It presents the owned roster, an animated habitat, individual monster profiles and the 24-species launch catalog.
Completing the first matching non-Apex Hunt Board contract for an eligible launch species permanently binds one copy.
Repeating a matching contract:
A full Menagerie blocks a first-time species binding cleanly and displays a warning rather than creating an invalid record.
Every copy stores:
When an older save has no Menagerie state, Version 1.10.0 M1 checks verified Bestiary records. Every launch species with at least one recorded kill receives one reconstructed bound copy. Historical kills are not converted into speculative duplicates or large amounts of XP.
A selected monster can complete an immediate Gold-funded Practice Drill for XP. This is deliberately a small M1 bridge; timed offline Training Grounds, abilities and star progression are planned for M2.
Owned monsters appear as animated two-frame pixel creatures in the habitat. The roster is responsive, supports desktop and mobile layouts and becomes static when Reduced Motion is active.
M1 does not enable Monster Arena battles, leagues, monster abilities, star advancement or Fusion. Those systems remain staged for later 1.10.0 milestones.
