Posted July 29, 2026 by devgb
Beta Playtest Center
The new center was verified from Home in English and German. Assertions covered:
- five structured coverage checks;
- save verification and persisted completion state;
- direct Journal, save, report and email actions;
- low-height desktop modal containment;
- internal scrolling and zero horizontal document overflow at 320×720;
- locally generated checklist context without gameplay effects.
Enhanced technical reports
- Report format is now
koc-playtest-report-v2.
- Category, severity, observed result, expected result and reproduction steps are captured.
- Beta checklist context is included.
- Full save data and typed chat content remain excluded.
- Download filenames identify Version 3.6.0 Beta.
Preserved gameplay and migration coverage
The complete 3.5.5 safety suite was repeated:
- all 145 narrative quests can reach completion;
- all 76 bilingual scenes remain valid;
- the reward ledger contains exactly one entry for each completed narrative quest;
- repeated synchronization does not duplicate currency or materials;
- damaged completed quest state is repaired without repeated payout;
- Narrative Data Versions 0, 2, 3 and 4 migrate idempotently to Version 5;
- Save Schema 34 and the historical browser key remain unchanged.
Responsive matrix
All 27 main routes were rendered at:
- 1920×1080
- 1366×768
- 1180×650
- 390×844
- 320×720
This produced 135 route/viewport combinations. Assertions covered nonempty content, horizontal document overflow, duplicate DOM IDs and visible unnamed buttons. Journal and World were also checked at 130% Interface Scale.
Assets and syntax
- 19 local asset references resolved.
- 18 raster files decoded successfully.
- 7 SVG files parsed successfully.
data.js, narrative.js, playtest.js and game.js passed Node syntax validation.
External manual gates
The following remain external targets rather than automated claims:
- Firefox desktop;
- Safari desktop;
- Safari on iPhone and iPad;
- Chrome on Android;
- itch.io embedded versus fullscreen behaviour;
- browser audio policies;
- a multi-hour human progression run.
