SmileStream Update Notes

New Features

  • Anonymous Usage Tracking: Added a lightweight analytics system to help balance upgrades and guide future development based on how the game is played. This tracking is completely anonymous and collects zero personal data. It is enabled by default, but you can easily toggle it off at any time in the Settings menu.

UI & Accessibility Improvements

  • Display Adjustments: Overhauled buttons, text, and scrollbars across the game to improve readability and ease of use, especially on mobile screens.
  • Enhanced Visibility: Increased text size and contrast across the board, and added distinct borders and background colors to buttons to make them easier to interact with.
  • Shop Polish: Centered the currency count list in the Upgrade Shop for a cleaner, more organized look.

Balance & Progression Changes

  • Upgrade Shop Decluttering: Moved new emoji unlock purchases out of the "Global" tab to reduce clutter and keep the interface organized.
  • New Emoji Unlock Flow: Emojis are now unlocked directly within their own dedicated tabs. A new tab will unlock once the required currency is available, displaying only the unlock button. Once purchased, the unlock moves to the end of that emoji's upgrade list, making room for the next unlock.
  • Catch Radius Adjustments: Rebalanced the costs for the Catch Radius upgrade, which now spans across all emoji types.
