The first build of the game is now live!
I'll try to keep this updated and post devlogs with each update/release of the game.
Right now, the game is extremely rough around the edges, missing tons of assets, and still only takes place in a barren testing map with nothing going on.
So what's available then? Right now in the game it's possible to fight enemies, gain XP from them, level up skills in a skill tree, unlock tier II and master rank skills, and after a certain amount of time, harder enemies will begin to spawn that are tougher.
Skill System
How this system works is as so: When you get your first upgrade point, you'll be at Tier 1 and get to pick from three trees with a 1 point skill. Picking a skill from one tree locks you into that tree. This becomes your primary class. When you reach rank 5 and can afford Tier II skills, you'll be able to choose another tree, this acting as your sub-class.
Prestige Ranks
When you hit Rank 10, you'll unlock the Master Rank skills. These are 3 max-tier skills. You can only pick one and they're the most expensive skills in the game, but grant you great powers.
Scheduling
From here on out, I'll have a release schedule. Each Monday, I'll be releasing a new 'stable' build, that's a bit more polished, but obviously still alpha stage. Then, frequently and without schedule, I'll be releasing 'unstable' builds with prototype features, and vastly buggier. Be warned with this one.
