I've updated Freehack along with the repository to version 2.1.
This version makes the terminology used for sections less clunky and adds new guidance on when and how to perform rolls for a group of player characters, based on my experience from my own games. I found that I was avoiding rolling once for each character in a group for checks like perception (where only one character needs to succeed) or stealth (where only one character needs to fail). Rolling for each player makes intuitive sense but, unless you use modifiers that are massively out of scale with the rest of the modifiers in your game, it almost always produces a mixture of successes and failures. This de facto guarantees a particular outcome in cases where you need just one of either. The new guidance suggests that you instead roll only once, using the modifiers relevant to the most capable player character or the least capable depending on whether you are looking for at least once success or at least one failure.
Enjoy!
