• Power-ups! Two in every game, solo or versus: a +30s stopwatch to buy yourself time (once per round), and a letter-reveal that peels an answer open when you're stuck — you earn a fresh reveal every second correct answer, stacking up to three.
• World records! Beat the all-time high on a category and a full-screen WORLD RECORD celebration takes over, then your points bar slowly climbs to the new high with a suspenseful counting build-up. A gold WR marker on the bar shows the score to chase.
• Full names everywhere: poets, authors, classical composers, scientists and US presidents now show the complete name (Robert Frost, Ludwig van Beethoven, Abraham Lincoln…) — and you can answer with just the surname or the full name. Presidents link straight to the right Wikipedia page.
• Poets category rebuilt and fact-checked — 300+ real poets across every era and culture, with the fakes and non-poets weeded out.
• Cleaner categories: dinosaurs no longer sneak in pterosaurs or sea reptiles, duplicate Apple products folded together, and the broad 'foods' grab-bag no longer turns up in random or daily (still there to play directly).
• No more back-to-back repeats — the random spinner won't hand you the same category twice in a row, even on a narrow theme.
• A fresh Custom Deck button on the home screen, a punchier Pick-a-mode screen with bigger icons and type, and larger, easier-to-read theme and difficulty cards.
• Added a bunch of requested names (Annabelle, Mae, Ken, Liz, Lizzie, Leela) and more.
