Gameplay
- Dudes now level up a bit slower.
- The last two levels in each skill tree now cost 2 SP.
- Red upgrade indicators only appear when a dude has enough SP to purchase the next level.
- Mining Power is now more meaningful:
- Gemstones and large ore veins take longer to mine.
- Uranium now requires a minimum Mining Power before it can be mined.
- Hiring cost scaling has been reduced slightly at higher dude counts.
- Heavy Backpacks has been rebalanced with a higher starting cost and steeper scaling.
UI & UX
- Added ghost previews for Dig orders before placement.
- Current max depth is now displayed on the HUD.
- Save notifications are smaller and positioned more cleanly.
- Notifications stay on screen longer and now fade out smoothly.
- Notification queue now shows when additional notifications are waiting.
- Unlock notifications are now separate from achievements.
- Ladders, Torches, Workbenches and other unlocks now have their own notifications.
- Achievement and Unlock screens now display progress counters.
- Dude list updates more consistently when hiring or changing queued jobs.
- Camera movement is now limited to the arrow keys, avoiding conflicts with Dig mode.
- Tutorials and help text have been updated for consistency.
World & Systems
- Improved cave and fog discovery logic to prevent caves from incorrectly becoming hidden again.
- Heavy Backpacks now correctly persist between saves until Prestige.
- Passive XP gain is now independent from the autosave interval.
Visuals
- Added new torch icon.
- Updated dude animations.
- Added digging animations.
- Various visual polish and quality of life improvements.
Misc
- Numerous bug fixes, balance tweaks
