- Music and Sound settings are now persistent
- Item usage priorities: Lowest priority is tape and doors. Medium priority for can. Highgest priority for all other items.
Multiplayer
- Player visibility: stronger halo, local player always on top, optional transparency with F5
- Multiplayer reconnect after 10s if server should crash and restart
- Main Menu: Disable Multiplayer button while waiting for server pings. Auto-select the one with the lowest ping.
- Don’t show leader board on Tree/Paper collect, but kept other events like player join
Fixed
- Respawning items: Trees, toilet paper, potions and towels should never jump during respawn. For Trees and toilet paper this might be true only with decent pings.
- There was an unhandled situation when the player was caught in enclosed areas: the police couldn’t escort the player, because there was no free path. This is solved in 3 stages now:
- try to find a free path.
- try to find a path through tapes.
- try to find a path through closed doors (police got a general key suddenly;))
- Server crashes sometimes for unknown reason (however this didn’t occur during the game yet). Logging in Godot doesn’t work sufficiently, so we just re-start the servers in an endless loop after 10s of downtime.
- Singleplayer: in case the player didn’t create an avatar yet, the character had white shirt and hair
- Accidental Highscore submission after playing multi-player games
- Don’t move when pressing direction keys using a previously selected item, because it would make the player reveal if doing so while hidden in a bush
