So I think I've finally managed to fix the bug that prevents some people from loading the game. As expected, it was in the way I'd tried to check for updates, but I've put that code into a separate thread so it should no longer interfere with the game loading/running
Please let me know if it hasn't worked so I can try something else. This has been wild trying to fix
