Throughout production, I decided to create some tiling textures in Substance Designer to create variation in my assets and create a lovely unlit style that blended flat colour with basic textures. I avoided using Photoshop to create these textures, as trying to get them to tile is fiddly, whereas Substance Designer it is a lot easier, to not only tile, but iterate your creations.
