New:
- UI
- Lobby Setup:
- Select game mode, then host/join a lobby to play online or go straight into single player
- Public Lobbies (currently N/A)
- When a player creates a lobby when the Public toggle is enabled, another player can click the Join Game button and either type/paste code to join a public lobby or click the Join Lobby button in the listed public lobby in the list.
- Tab Filters
- Buttons will appear above a selected/active tab, and clicking on the buttons will only display units of that type
- It’s buggy at the moment, but when you get stuck, such as not datapads appearing, de-select the active tab and re-select the tab, or switch to a tab then re-select the tab
Update/Fixes:
- UI
- Experiencing a Bug with Exploration Mode
- Datapads updated
- Only unit datapads for now; the datapads should reflect whether the linked unit can still do an action(s) or not.
- Info panel that opens via clicking a datapad also appears when double-clicking a unit/building in the game
- Map
- Improved map generation, better chance of each resource definitely being spawned on any generated map
- Latest test indicates Electricity is a bit harder to locate and obtain
- Buildings
- Resource Facility
- New visuals updated
- Pathfinding improved (still working on improving it more)
- Units
- Combat units with select attack pattern weapons, Human Harrier and Javelin, can now attack at long range and can’t attack in close range
- Drones:
- Fixed: Drones can’t be destroyed
