Work continues on enchantments. :D Since the last update, I've implemented a large number of enchantments that add various extra effects to weapons such as elemental damage and status effects.
The elemental damage variety come in two main types: "brands", which add a moderate amount of elemental damage and usually an associated status effect, and stronger type that adds a large amount of elemental damage and a more powerful additional effect... but at the cost of reducing the weapon's physical damage.
Elemental damage on weapons is not affected by the wielder's Strength, nor the target's Armor, but is still affected by modifiers from various attack techniques. So for example, a Heavy Attack with a Vampiric weapon can return a great deal of HP to the attacker indeed... provided the target does not resist or have immunity to Body damage, of course.
Pure status effects enchantments are also available, giving you access to weapons that can inflict Fear, Fury, Sleep, Paralyze, and more. These can be particularly powerful when combined with weapons that can attack multiple times such as Light weapons, and/or when used with attack techniques that hit multiple targets.
