Development of NULL SIGNAL continues, and this update focuses on making the experience more immersive, more reactive, and more polished overall.
The building now contains a wider variety of environmental events designed to keep exploration unpredictable. Strange sounds, visual anomalies, and unexpected occurrences can happen while exploring, making every run feel different.
A new tutorial system has been added to help new players understand the drone controls and core mechanics before beginning their exploration.
A significant amount of work has gone into the game's sound design. Ambient sounds have been expanded and adjusted to create a more immersive and unsettling atmosphere while exploring.
The drone can now actively record footage during exploration, reinforcing the livestream and found-footage experience that defines NULL SIGNAL.
Battery management has been introduced. Players must now be mindful of their remaining power while exploring deeper into unknown locations.
The livestream audience is no longer just cosmetic. Viewers now react dynamically to events happening during the exploration, creating the feeling of a real audience watching your discoveries unfold in real time.
Several new visual effects have been added to enhance the camera feed and overall presentation of the game.
Drone controls have been refined to provide smoother and more responsive movement, improving navigation and overall gameplay feel.
Multiple sound effects have been rebalanced and adjusted to reduce annoyance and improve long play sessions while preserving the game's atmosphere.
