FiveBlocksFall – Version 1.6 DevLog

Version 1.6 is ready to be downloaded, installed and played! This update brings several improvements across gameplay, UX and the MySocialScore ecosystem. The focus has been on stability, clarity, and giving players more control — both through new mechanics and better device support.

MySocialScore 2.0

The social leaderboard system has been upgraded with a more reliable submission flow and a new visual feature:

• Automatic screenshot capture one frame before game‑over
• Updated backend API and frontend layout to support the new data

This makes every score submission more meaningful and visually consistent.

New Gameplay Feature: Super Bomb (5×5)

A new special action is now available:

• 5×5 explosion radius
• A new unique SFX
• Activation via double‑click (mouse) or double‑tap (gamepad)
• Cost: 2 bombs

It’s a powerful tool for late‑game survival and tactical clears.

Config Save/Load

The game now stores:

• Language
• Country
• Settings

Your preferences persist across sessions without manual setup.

Gameplay Adjustments

• The 2‑bonus now correctly clears two adjacent columns
• Fixed a bug where the first column could be selected incorrectly
• “New Quest” special action cost reduced from 3 → 2 tokens
• Quest generation logic has been fixed and optimized
• Added counter‑clockwise rotation (Q or PgUp)

These changes make the game more responsive and reduce randomness in key moments.

UI & Identity Updates

• New graphic logo replacing the old plain‑text title
• New splash screen on startup

A small but important step toward a more polished presentation.

Bug-fixing:

• Better detection of connected devices (especially on Windows where device enumeration can shift)
• Minor corrections

This improves the overall controller experience.
