Stage 1 Intro

This week I've been working on the intro for stage 1.  Stage one will be a the Endor space battle.  I've been thinking about how to tackle this stage for a little while.  Do I go for a full on total free space flight, or an 'On Rails' approach?  At the moment I think I will be going for a bit of hybrid.  You will be able to fly around freely but will be constrained to a certain radius of the battle.  Most of the action main battle with the larger ships will be choreographed, however the smaller fighters which will be the players primary focus will be dynamic.
