Dev log 3 : v1.3 is out and with a whole lot of changes
It has been quite a while since the last dev log. There have been a lot of changes to the game so far. Most notably to the visual style and the addition of post processing. But either way, here's a list of changes :
- Changes to the character design of the main character as well as to the enemies
- Addition of post processing and bloom effects { in case you hadn't already noticed ;) }
- Character no longer dies when combo bar is dropped
- Removal of the purple pillars from the Ludum Dare version which have been replaced by doors which can be kicked down
- Background sprite of each floor has been changed and lighting effects have been added
- New weapons have been added
- Default weapon for the character is a pistol now
- Player doesn't die from a single hit anymore and has three lives
- A new enemy type has been introduced. The grenadier
- Alien bullets and the grenades of the grenadier can now be kicked back at them to recover health
The game will continue to change a lot with the next few dev logs. This will include a complete makeover due to the addition of new characters, more enemy types, more weapons and new layouts for the building. Until then, blast away in v1.3
