Okie dokies so, I included a text document in the game folder with some known issues and potential fixes, but I figured I'd post them here too since I wanted to update the file anyways with some additional info! It makes more sense to post here than edit the text file and upload the entire game again with the new document in :3
It's been brought to my attention that the game won't launch for some people, which sucks :( I've posted in the Tyranobuilder support forums on Steam to see if anyone there can give me some solid suggestions as to why the game works for some and not for others, and offer suggestions as to what people with this issue can try to do in an attempt to resolve it. I haven't had any replies yet, but if/when I do, I will make sure to update this post! In the meantime, here are some suggestions that have worked for some people already.
Game not launching - windows - possible fixes:
Game not launching - mac - possible fixes:
This is where things get extra awkward, as I don't own a mac myself, and I don't know anything about them either >.< My partner tested the game on his work mac before I uploaded the files here, and it worked fine on that, but I'm not entirely sure what you can do on a mac to fix things. As I said, I have asked in the support forums for suggestions, so I will update this if/when any are posted. In the meantime, you can try some of the same fixes as above.
When launching the game, a window with NW.JS is displayed instead of the game - possible fixes:
You can try the above possible fixes for the game not launching to try and fix this issue. Please take a look at this thread for more detail:

Config menu for adjusting volume, text speed, etc. doesn't display properly - fix:
This issue only occurs if you open the config menu when a moving/animated background is on screen. It's something to do with the way that Tyrano loads layers, and I don't know of a way to fix this, however, if you open the config menu again on a regular background, it should display normally and allow you to change the settings. There aren't that many moving backgrounds used in the game, and when they are used, they're typically not on screen for very long.
Name field and text box quick menu options disappear when the game is playing a moving/animated background in fullscreen or windowed fullscreen - workaround:
This seems to be an issue with the way Tyranobuilder loads layers. I don't know how to fix it, but it only does it in fullscreen or windowed fullscreen, if in a small window, it's fine. The buttons are still there, you just can't see them.
Workaround:
If you want to access the menu options while in fullscreen on a moving background, you can use the keyboard shortcuts. There is a text document in the game folder which lists all available keyboard commands, but I will also post them at the bottom of this page.
Quick save & quick load buttons do not work:
These are buttons included on the UI, but they don't function. I basically just modified one of Tyrano's built-in UI templates for this project, and I don't know how to remove those buttons. Just use regular save and load instead.
One or two lines require two clicks to proceed instead of one:
This is something that baffles me as when I look at the scene file, there's no reason it should be doing this, but it's not a major issue as it only happens on one or two lines in the game.
Skip function sometimes crashes the game:
This doesn't seem to happen very often, but, unfortunately, it's an issue with Tyranobuilder itself that I can't personally fix.
Some sound effects continue to play when they shouldn't after using the skip text function -fix:
I presume this is because it skips so fast that the stop SFX looping commands are just forgotten >.<
Fix:
If SFX keeps playing out of place after you've skipped text, to fix, make a save, then load that save, the rogue SFX should have stopped as soon as you load.
One or two voice lines don't quite match the text:
This is because they were recorded years ago and I can't get them redone.
One or two voice lines have slight audio glitches:
Same as above, they're lines recorded years ago that I can't get redone.
Extras section sometimes goes haywire & extras can't be skipped - workaround:
I haven't found out the cause of this yet. It happened 1/10 times when I was testing. I removed the skip function to see if that was causing issues, so now all content in extras is unskippable once you start playing it.
Workaround:
If you open content in the extras section and don't wish to view it until the end, press the T key to return to the title screen.
Keyboard Commands:
Enter - Progress the game
S - Open the save screen
L - Open the load screen
T - Go back to the title screen
M - Open the menu screen
Z - Begin skipping text
B - Show backlog
F - Toggle fullscreen
A - Begin auto mode
If you come across any other issues in the game that aren't listed here, please let me know, and I'll add them here + try to find fixes or workarounds :3
