Hi, it's been a long time since an update! I've been gradually working on Vektor2089 in the background (I have a day job making games that eats up most of my time)
I thought I'd share a playable update of what I've been working on, it's a pretty major physics overhaul and a software 3D rasterizer for the track and ships, allowing for more interesting 3D trackside objects. You can press Escape to enter the ship editor, use up and down to select a component type and left and right to change component which will change the appearance and performance/handling.
There's still a bit more work to get everything integrated with the new physics and graphics, the biggest issue is getting the AI to play nice with the new physics.
I'd love to hear what you think about the new physics. They may take a little getting used to.
