Overview

This update tightens the first-run experience, reduces menu density, and adds more shareable run structure. Empty-cell placement is faster, guided openings emphasize the current action, the Run Charter now supports seeds, and the IT book gains a new Corrupted Data trap cell.

First-Run Guidance

  • Added a first-run focus mode that hides secondary panels during guided opening steps.
  • Added a compact current-action prompt above the sheet during tutorial stages.
  • Strengthened target-cell and Recalculate-button highlights for the current tutorial action.
  • Reduced first-run resource stats to Money and Per Recalc until advanced stats are needed.
  • Suppressed purchases during the earliest tutorial stages and reveal them when the first purchase becomes relevant.

Formula Placement

  • Made clicking an empty cell open the formula picker directly, reducing basic placement to cell, then formula.
  • Updated the first tutorial step and formula-help copy to teach the two-click placement flow.
  • Added a close button to the contextual formula picker.

Run Charter And Seeds

  • Reworked the Run Charter into a filing-packet style draft with clause labels, charter code, selected starter formula, and an in-game filing confirmation.
  • Added Run Charter seed entry and randomization.
  • Persisted run seeds through saves and imports.
  • Included run seeds in expansion terrain rolls so shared late-board layouts can be replayed.

Panels And Help

  • Added collapse controls for Current Layout, Build Identity, and Purchases panels.
  • Collapsed Purchases and Build Identity panels now call attention to available purchases or discovered archetypes.
  • Reduced Help menu text density by keeping the basics visible and moving deeper references into collapsible sections.
  • Moved upgrade descriptions into formula-title tooltips to reduce repeated card text.

Book Terrain

  • Added Corrupted Data as IT trap terrain that turns collector-style formulas into money drains.
  • Made Corrupted Data appear in placement preview, selected-cell details, event pills, and recalculation logs.
  • Prevented Corrupted Data drains and incident response costs from pushing visible money below zero.

Community Links

  • Added live Discord and itch.io links to the main menu.
  • Updated the Help Internal Directory with the live community and feedback destinations.
