Greatly improved selection system. New selection algorithm means cursor is restricted to selectable squares. Thus, pieces can only move to squares which correspond to the display square of one of that piece's legal moves.
Implemented all simple piece moves. Still to do: castling, en passant, etc.. These should be straight forward using existing framework.
Last build before implementing Unity's new input system which will allow for easier multiplayer configuration.
Next release will include UI.
