Yesterday I officially launched a new project called CC0Tree — a growing library of 100% royalty‑free, low‑poly assets created by an indie game dev for fellow indie game devs. This project isn’t driven by money or anything beyond a genuine desire to give back to the community that has supported me for years.
I started with a simple bowling ball model, and today I added a matching bowling pin to help kick off the collection with a small, cohesive theme. All assets are completely free to download, use, modify, and share — both personally and commercially — with no strings attached. Donations or credit are always appreciated but never required.
My goal is to release at least one new low‑poly asset every week. Some weeks I may add more, depending on my workload with client projects. Each model is created with a clean workflow: low‑poly mesh → texture grid → UV mapping → exported FBX for easy use in any engine. The bowling ball and pin both include a gradient texture that you can swap, recolor, or remap however you like.
Thanks for checking out CC0Tree — I hope these assets help you build something awesome. More models coming soon!
