#Divine Omen
I’m back again! And so soon! I do have a few quick updates to share with you guys, and honestly I wouldn’t have bothered writing a post for this if the changes weren’t so…weird. First, let’s talk about the updates made to the game page(s).
I’m sure most of you know the full paid game was originally listed under an all new project page while the demo stayed its own separate page. I realized that was kinda stupid. Originally, I did it because it seemed that itch wouldn’t let me keep the browser version of the demo free. Turns out, I was completely wrong about that. Therefore, there’s no need for two separate project pages. Sorry for doubting you, itch! And also for cluttering up everything with two pages! For once, it’s fortunate that that the new project page got almost no traction at all, so nothing of value is lost to you or me when I unlist it.
The project page associated with this devlog is the same one I’ve always had and it officially contains a demo download, a demo browser version, and NOW, the full game available for $14.99. Some of you may have noticed (let’s be honest, you probably didn’t) that this project page was inactive for a day or two while I made those fixes and also updated some artwork. I’ll point out exactly what I updated, actually:
Isn’t this way nicer? This better convince people to play.
These page updates will also be extended to the Steam page as soon as I’m able, but it’s 2AM so we aren’t doing all that tonight.
Now, onto those Chapter 3 updates…
I’ll admit, it’s a teeny bit early for a big progress update as I’m still dealing mainly with code and don’t really have much worth showing off. I do have some placeholder art, though!
Don’t they look nice!
Like I said, most of my work is coding and script writing right now. Like the [redacted area] in Chapter 2, Chapter 3 will have you navigating a relatively large area of the city, which I think you guys will like…especially if you liked exploring [redacted] in Chapter 2. Oh, you didn’t play it yet? That’s too bad. You should. It’ll actually be on sale in June for the Steam summer sale, so you can grab it then for a discount! I might decide to be nice and discount it here, too. We’ll see.
Anyway, coding. I’m doing a lot of that. I’m a very respectable 10k words deep so far, which is roughly 1/4 of the size of the other two parts. Not bad, I’d say!
That’s all for now. Next update will be a little more exciting. Thanks for reading anyway!
