Cultists! It's a new week, which means a new patch! From here forwards, expect incremental updates each Thursday (or in some cases, Friday). Let's get started with the patch notes:
What's New:
- Added a new Forest level. You can select it from the level selection menu.
General Changes:
- Changed the particle effect for Gust of Wind for better readability.
- Still very much a placeholder, but it should look less like something went wrong with Spider-Man's web-shooter, and more like your Wi-Fi signal icons.
- Pit effect has been updated to a darker red hue.
- Placeholder. Not like the colour before wasn't placeholder, but what was seen could not be unseen by some of our testers.
- Increased the amount of hunger satiated with each sacrifice. This should help give players more chances to reduce the speed at which the storm progresses. This is only a temporary fix while other critical game systems are still being worked on.
- Changed the height and gap size for the ditch in the north-east area of the Town level. Players should now be able to more consistently place crates and cross that gap to reach the villagers in that area.
Known Issues:
To be addressed in future patches.
- The Abilities Test level and the Forest level can not be exited by pressing escape. This will be fixed in a future patch.
- Gust of Wind's knockback is severely reduced on framerates higher than 60. Expect a fix in the form of a rework soon.
- The pit can sometimes turn into a trampoline and make villagers fly instead of pulling them in.
