More handcrafted levels are planned, with a focus on faster routes, tighter hazards, enemy placement, coins, scoring, and replaying for better times.
Level Select will also be organized into sections instead of one long list. Each section will be built around a major boss or area theme, starting with the current Queen Spire section and expanding from there.
Bosses are planned to become major milestones between groups of levels. Each boss section will have its own environments, enemies, hazards, music, and arena mechanics.
The goal is for each boss to feel different, with new patterns to learn and new level ideas leading up to the fight.
The next section is planned to be a lot less sharp and a lot more squishy.
